best AZ bug places?

where in portal do you recommend? like, should i stay in the flattish/hilly areas on the edge of the mountains or go into the valleys?

it really depends on what you want to find.... i recommend doing both. hunt in the mountains interior and hunt the flats... its completely different species inhabiting the 2 different habitats.

If you get up in the flagstaff area let me know and I can try to get some time off and go out for an afternoon. Or I can give you directions to a couple of areas for bugs.
