The type locality for this species is 8.8 mi E Nogales in Santa Cruz County, Arizona.
Distribution within Arizona is Santa Cruz County and adjacent Cochise County. This species is also in adjacent Sonora Mexico. Usually found along washes with granite type soil under rocks along the edge of the wash.
