Greetings from New Mexico

Post by aliened58 on Thu Jan 07, 2010 12:27 pm

Greetings
I'm relatively new to collecting insects. I live in Deming New Mexico.
My main interest are reptiles and amphibians. However; I also collect tarantulas,
centipedes, scorpions, and vinegaroons. We're having a pretty cold winter this
year but I'm hoping that there will be a lot of runoff from the snow accumulation
in the mountains for the upcoming season. Hopefully we will have better monsoon
rains than last summer. I'm having trouble Neutral attaching an image of
a tarantula species I collected locally. Below is a link to my Insect Folder
in Windows Live where you can view that image and all my public images.

Please I.D. the tarantula in the My Insect Folder Arrow

Hope to hear from someone soon....

Tarantula

Thanks for the ID.
When you get time why don't you put together a list of the species that you are
interested in from this area. Quote me some prices that you would be willing to pay
and the quantities you need. Any locations would be appreciated.

Be sure to send me you physical address too.

It's been real cold here. I'm set up for the spring. I have a bunch of tin set up in the mountains
that has produced a few vinegaroons. I'm hoping to collect more Madrean Alligator Lizards,
Klauberi, and Black Range Pyros.

Nothing will be moving in good numbers until May. Sad
