Type Locality for this species is the Southwestern Research Station about 5 miles West Portal in Cochise County, Arizona.
Distribution within Arizona is the Chiricahua Mountains in Cochise county, Mountain ranges found in Santa Cruz, Pima and Graham counties.
Individuals found within oak stands in the sides of the washes.
