this is just about the only invert that CA lacks that i am really sad about
are P. mexicanus as conspecifically tolerant as P. margimaculatus (er, whatever the cute little FL species is )?

mexicanus eat eachother after a while so they require LOTS of space if you are to keep them together. marginemaculatus from what ive heard is much more tolerant of eachother. mexicanus is VERY common here during the summer monsoons.

Yes I have had the Florida ones and I kept about ten in a standard 10 gallon and no losses
